I have this noise coming from my 08 Sierra that has been going on for a couple months. I've tooken it to the dealer but they said they didn't hear anything so I went ahead and took audio and I am giong to bring it in next week sometime. I just want to go in there knowing what is wrong or atleast an idea so they can't tell me they didn't hear it. Thanks for the help

... sounds like the alternator bearing squeal when its really cold outside. hard to hear though, take it back and yell at them to open their ears. seems to be RPM related, does it do it in park / neutral when you free rev?

 

Well it's definately not cold here in Florida . I tested it and it does not do it in park , n, or when free revving. Only while driving
