Default hid lights

hey everybody,
i just put a 6000k 55w hid light kit in my 04 silverado. i was wondering what would be a decent light to put in my fog lights other than stock. i was told that a 4300k light kit would look good. but wanted a chevy owners opinion who has done this before

4300 or less 4300 is white, 3000k are yellow. I am running 4300k for my headlights and love them

well. first of all. when you put the kit in, did you at least angle your lights better or something? because all these nice trucks roll down the road, with HALOGEN style headlight housings and slap in hid's and it turns it into a god aweful looking thing. for me. i put 6000k hid's in and projector beam head units so it gets focused right. I personally cannot see when a truck drives towards me and their fog light is aimed at me and is as bright as the head lights. im trying to get the 3000k hid bulbs into a fog projector lens but currently. is hard as hell to find 4 inch projector light housings. but. i would say, 6000k headlights are so awesome. but to make it worth while and my opinion is that get the 3000k lights for the fogs and aim them down just a little more. the way they look is awesome. ive seen it on a silverado. see, its easy as hell to get projector beam units for newer trucks. i got a 98 with a chrome bumper with fog holes. its hard as ***** to get correct sizes. if i were you. getting projetor beam would make a difference even for just the fogs. its focuses the light much better, and in turn, your trucks light pattern looks clean, straight edge and neat. not scattered and lost.

A friend of mine put them in his 09 2500 6000k headlamps and fogs, and i dont see any scattering.. the light is in the exact same spot as stock. I've met him coming on to me and i'm not blinded at all by his lights, yes they are brighter, but not blinding. I'm doing both 6000k so that i have the same lights.

Thank you for the kind words about our HIDs.I've used two different 5000K kits in the past. One was 35w and the other was 55w. I really liked the 55w 5000K color temp.

I used 6000 low beams & 6000 fog & the only problem I have is on country roads with all the farmers. in Town or freeway no problem. I did go with 55W headlights & 35W Fog. I did have 8000 in my headlights & i was a little too much for oncomming traffic so I went to the 6000 & can't tell the difference but alot less high beams.
