How do you find a strange OEM part?
My flip down cup holder attached to the center dash (below cigarette lighter ports) recently broke on my trusty 2000 Silverado 1500. I have looked at a handful of online stores that sells OEM parts, but that is usually for engine, brakes, etc.
Is there a web site that has the schematic for even the nitty gritty (like the cup holder) so that I can order it directly?
Thanks in advance!

That's a great link and will definately come in handy. Thank you! Unfortunately, they did not have the OEM front dash components.
Is anyone aware of a site that gives all schematics, part numbers, etc similar to what a dealer would have?

I thought ALL OEM parts were strange.(Overpriced and shoddy!)
Here's what you do. Get a 750watt power inverter, install it under the cupholder. Then build an Oak wood cupholder right over the top of it. It'll look cool, and be very functional. Hurry up!

I like your idea Rivereye! However, I would have to get permission from the boss (wife) who drives the truck to my motorcycle races and graciously holds my beer. You can't beat that.
