Default How do your seat belts get turned around?

I just bought a used 2008 Silverado crew cab and the one on my side is 180 degrees out. Is there a quick way to get those turned back on the side they need to be on?

Thanks... Gary

No one has had a seat belt that made you turn the seat belt over to where there's a fold in it so you could plug it in?

It is just that the flat strap is run through 180 degrees of the way it should be facing for you to plug it into the female receiver on the seat. You have to turn the belt over in order to plug it in. The clearance is too tight to force the clip to just be turned where it belongs. I'm assuming there's a way to do it but I don't know. It's hard to believe the factory did it but maybe???

Thanks... Gary

Sounds like somebody may have reversed the receivers' seat positions. (for example, put the passenger receiver in the driver's position.) When I bought my '91 Silverado several years ago I had to get new receivers as couple were missing and there is a difference.

I have no idea how this one got that way or if it's been that way from the beginning. I was hoping someone would tell me how to either take something apart or tell me a way to manipulate the flat strap into allowing it to be turned around.

Thanks... Gary
