Default Just The Oil Pump?

I am having low oil pressure issues. Have done an oil change to check if it was just a collapsed filter as well as putting in a heavier oil in attempts to improve the oil pressure. Also have ruled out the sending unit.

Is this likely to be just an oil pump problem? Or is it likely to be a bigger problem like bearings?

Is it a difficult process to remove the oil pan on a 2004 Silverado? Can you just remove the oil pan?

Yes. How many miles, and more info on the engine/oil/history?

Screw a mechanical gauge in where the sender goes so you will know for sure where you are at. Gauge clusters give problems.
