Default Just picked up 2010 5.3

Make a long story short it has 95K one owner, highway miles, and about as clean as they come used.

Called my local dealer explained about picking it up, im second owner, have no contact with prior owner. Service Advisor took down my information along with the trucks and said I would be allset to use the last of the 100K/6 year powertrain warranty.

I explained my concern about the 5.3 AFM issue and he said there is a recall on the transmission dipstick tube on these trucks as its possible they can crack. Said that when I bring the truck down they will take a look and see if the truck has any symptoms of the AFM issue.

Any input or advice before I drop the truck off next wednesday would be greatly appreciated. Truck has 5k left on the warranty.

Heres the truck:

I see you are asking the forum members for their input, which is great. If you have any questions or concerns once you are at the dealership please let us know. We can certainly assist you with additional information about your warranty and recall concern.
