K&N or Banks Ram Air
I am trying to decide on what intake I should put in my truck (2003 K1500 5.3L). If any one has any experience with either one your input would be much appreciated.
Ive been looking trying to find the deference in gains from either one product but there's nothing that separates either one. K&N will give you dyno data Banks doesn't have that info anywhere I can find.

interesting videos, thanks for posting that. One thing they didnt mention was where you drive it, off road , clean city roads, or does that make any difference? I know they will get dirty faster off road.
I may go with one of those on my new intake I got last weekend ( seen in my sig & album). I dont trust the filter(Spectre brand) that came with it though, its very thin. But for $80 (30% off) it was worth it for the chrome tube, elbows, maf mount couplar, clamps & air wall alone.
I stumbled onto a returned kit , never used at PepBoys normally priced at $149. I stared at it for 20 min and could not resist buying it. Its sounds good (not annoying) looks good and no MAF codes so far after driving 200 miles. I am not looking for gain in power, just better sound & look, the truck has enough power for me stock. It does seem to be a little more peppy when punched at highway speeds.
