Key wont work?
My 1989 Cheyenne 2500 was running just fine a few months back then i went out to start it one day and the key just didnt work i tried everything i could think of. Now i am thinking i need to do one of three things.
1.Just replace the tumbler
2.Wire it up on a switch and starter button
or jam a screw drive in it tell it twists it just my old truck that i dont really do anyting with anymore but i need it moved so the plows dont hit it. anyideas on what i should do or can do to get it moved with the least money

key does not work in what manner?
tumbler does not turn?
tumbler turns but engine does not start?
if tumbler still turns, remove the lock itself and stick screwdriver into the slot. i drove like this for over a year once, when they busted my car.
