I've been shopping for a 2011 Silverado crew cab. I've noticed on the window stickers that it says front appointed leather seats.

Is the rear seat fake leather? If not, why do they list it as front leather seat on the window sticker?

Is it the same on all models of Silverado?

Does anyone know for sure?

 

They probably mean just the seating area and not the back side> Doesn't the rear seat appear to be leather too?

 

seating surfaces are dead cow front & back..they are on mine

 

I couldn't believe that would be the case. I asked a salesmanager at a dealership about the way it was worded on the window sticker.

He said he knew the 3rd row seats in Suburbans were not leather but he would check.

He called back in a couple of hours and said the back seat in the crew cab was not real leather.

I know fake leather looks pretty real. I'm just trying to find someone that really knows.
