Default Level measurements

For level measurements are people measuring form the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender? I do that measurement and find only one inch difference front to rear and I see most level kits are 2 inch. And I'm guessing that a 2 inch lift probably only lifts a little over 1.5 inches.

yeah you are correct, with it level and still a smooth ride with a leveling kit, you are gonna get about inch and half.

Thanks. Figured it was the same as where I measured my H3 before raising the front.

You can crank more, but like said ride suffers.

So I take it 2wd? I'm 1500 but have a 4wd with torsion bars to crank. Unless you're talkin about a 07+ 1500

Sorry folks, it's a 2013 1500. I guess I should add that to my signature.

With the levelin kits for 07+ 1500s, what size kit you get is how much it'll lift the front. A .75" spacer will get you 1.5" of lift, a 1" spacer will provide 2" of lift, a 1.25" spacer will provide 2.5" of lift, a 1.5" spacer= 3" of lift.
