Is there any way to clear off the low tire pressure message on the 2011 silverado?

Yeah I thought of that. The tire pressure is fine on the tires. I just can't get the message to go away

 

i find that in the winter you have to increase tire pressure alittle, to get ride of the message.

 

I had the same problem and I couldn't figure it out until I checked the pressure on all of the tires.

I aired up the tire that the monitor said was low and it turned out the opposite side was the culprit.

If your sure that the pressure is right, then it probably needs to be reset or a sensor needs replaced. Since its a 2011, it will be covered by warranty, so goto the dealer. But again, triple check all your pressures first..

 

did you put new rims on

 

I guess if you put new wheels that would be the problem 'cause a lot of times people don't put the sensors in the after market wheels, (at least that is what I did thanks to the parts guy at the dealer) I got a brand new set of wheels on ebay and they are made for GM vehicles so the sensors will fit in them, so if you didn't put the tpms in the wheels do what i did to get rid of the stupid light in the dashboard, put the tpms in a pvc canister with a valve stem that you can make yourself, pump it up to a desired pressure and put it some where in the cab, that will take care of the problem.
now in my case I have to shake the pvc canister close to the dashboard every once in a while 'cause for some reason the tpms stop sending the pressure reading to the computer, may be they work with the motion they have in the wheels, go figure!
