need help with tranny ?

Can i use a tranny 400 from a 4x4 on my truck if its only rearwheel drive but still a tranny 400?

Yes,

But, the transmission will have to be gutted, the output shaft swapped and the proper extension housing installed.

Might add, this is not a job for a novice.
