Default Performanc Chip for my 2003 Silverado 4 X 4

I have been reading and hearing alot about the increased performance and Miles per gallon to be gained after these performance chips or "tuned" are used. Can anyone give me some recommendations to what they either like or don't like.
Also, I may be changing my intake to an AIRRAID or similar product.
Any positive or negative feedback on that modification as well???
Thanks in advance.
Steve

Airaid intake yes do it, custom tune via blackbearperformance do it. Don't get a programmer(bullydog, hypertech, jet, etc.) not worth anything

It's not much of an improvement because the stock system flows really well but it's enough to notice
