hey everyone, i have a 07 silverado (new body) and i have got looking at
putting some go in my truck but i dont quite know what to look for. I thought maybe a comp cam, dynatech headers and a pro-charger on it but have no clue what else to get and if this is going to be more trouble than what it is worth. Id like it to still be a daily driver and be pushing over 400hp to the rear wheels. i would appreciate everyones opinions. thanks!

 

Cam, longtube headers(no shorties), intake, single 3" exhaust or dual 2.5" if you want, procharger, and a good good custom tune on top of everything. With all this power, might want to think about beefin up your tranny too, and your rear end

 

well i know theres alot of stuff involved in doing this, but what is some of the websites that offer these parts? how should i re-gear the truck, i havent fount much unless i go with like 4:10 but i think that would be too much bottom end. And with adding a cam and intake shouldnt i replace the heads as well? or just put new valves,rods,springs, etc.

 

Depending on your budget, a tuner (bully dog), CAI and turbo can get you to 400 hp. Blowers can go for $5k alone. I agree with long tube headers and larger bore exhaust.
