well thanks for the help. tomorrow afternoon I'm taking it to the shop to see what they say.

 

it turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator. went down to auto zone and picked one up now it starts without a problem everytime.

 

You didn't mention the fuel filter. Has it been changed or checked?

 

Im having the same problem with my truck, replaced fuel filter, plugs, fuel pressure regulator, cleaned injectors- still takes several starts when it is cold to fire up. Once its hot is starts immediately. I have runinto several people with the same problem that cant seem to pinpoint it.

 

I replaced the fuel filter a few days before i got the ne FPR, the old filter looked somewhat new but it didnthurt to replace it. ehhgethow about your fuel pump? Have you checked it DTC's?
