Default Question about my Hypertech Tuner

My hypertech tune has a setting on changing my rear axle gear ratio or keeping it stock and i know my ratio is a GT4 3.73 Ratio, should i change the setting to the GT4 3.73 Ratio or just keep it on stock setting?

Sounds bizarre to me, but vehicles are set up for optimum gas mileage when it comes to gearing and engine tunes by the factory. So, it depends what you want to accomplish and you didn't say anything about that. The fact that you have programmer does say you aren't interested in gas milieage since I have never heard of anyone getting better mileage with any brand of programmer.

ditch the programmer and get a custom tune...blackbear, wheatley, nelson are the top 3. you'll actually see a mpg gain and hp gain

Danistheman leave it stock if you havent changed it. You will get the power and fuel economy through selecting the tuning which is based off what fuel you use. You can use the other features like top speed, trans firmness, things of this nature to help enhance driveability.

So, how much did your mileage improve?
