i have a 2012 chevy silverado 1500. anybody put the 4in front n the 1.75in rear readylift kit in there silverado? im having some problems with the front.

welll i putthe new upper a arm in n the strut with the spacer. n now the sway bar is way to high to bolt back up to stock spot n the tierod ends r on a steep angle. i heard abot the tierod ends being like that but not even tec at readylift can help me with the sway bar. should i loosen the whole thing up n swing down? u ever put on of these lifts in?

 

Sounds like you should've got longer sway bar links with the kit. That'll fix that problem. The tie rods, well that's cause the ready lift 4" is a glorified leveling kit. They give you upper arms to account for the upper ball joint angle, but do nothin about the bottom ball join, tie rods, or cv angles if you're 4wd. Only way to fix that is get a full suspension lift, or beef em up with some ffr heim tie rods.

 

so it looks like readylift is a bs artist. they say this kit is the only thing u need. thanks

 

I wouldn't say bs, lot of people have run their kits. They're pretty reputable. But I've seen people have problems out of the over stretched levelin kit "lifts". Rough country has one and I believe fabtech does too, along with ready lift. They correct the upper ball joint angle, but do nothin to correct the tie rods, lower ball joint, and CV angles if you're 4wd. Ends up causin lots of problems later. If I were you I'd see about returnin it, or sell it, and buyin a 5" rough country suspension lift. That's a proven full lift and it's not very tall

Lol don't have a need for it but some else will. Smaller lifts like that sell quick
