I am getting ready to tear into this 350 sitting in my garage and have never rebuilt a motor before, any suggestions on good books to do this job. I am sure I will have many more questions as I go but this one is good to start. Anxious to get greasy, all suggestions welcome.

 

your regular Haynes manual will be able to get you through the process. My suggestion though is make a digital photo log or video footage log, or both.
