Default recall on 09 sensor

Just a heads-up, about a month ago a got a letter saying there was a recall on my truck, concerning the sensor under the drivers seat. The concern was if water got under the floorcovering (which in my case is a rubberflooring) because I have the WT package for my 09 silverado, it would get the the instulltion under the floorcovering wet and cause the sensor to rust and fail.Chevys fix was to slice the mat and pull-out the instullation that surround the sensor and leave it at that. I had it done and when i checked out how it had been done, I found a 3" slice in my flooring just under the front of the drivers seat. I told the servicemanager I was not happy and why didn't they put the slice in the back of the seat, so I couldn't see it and they said that's how they were told to do it. I talked to the head servicemanager and he said he didn't like the way it was done either, so they installed a new floorcovering in my new truck. So if anybody has the same experance tell them you want the floor covering replace, I did and it was done.
