I have a 98 Silverado Z71 with about 225,000 miles. Three weeks ago I had the Break booster, master cylinder, Distributor, fuel pump and fuel filter replaced. Now my Service engine light has come on and is flashing periodically. At idle it is misfiring heavily and when accelerating as well. Can anyone help me pin down what the problem may be. I'm tired of putting money in it. Thanks!

 

Take it to Autozone and have the codes read if you don't have your own scanner. Why guess if you can get an answer the easy way.

 

Check the firing order.
