I have a 1998 Chevy Z71 pickup with a 5.7. I recently had the Spider injection replaced. Since then I am noticing a shudder or miss at cruising speed that last for a second, no codes. Below are the things that has been done since the issue started.

IAC valve replaced
New wires and plugs.
The whole distributor replaced

What else should I check?

Does it have this symptom all the time? What was it doing before spider installed?
Maybe injector .

 

It was causing a miss fire on cyl 5. That miss fire is gone. The new problem does not happen all the time but in a 25 mile stretch it will occur 3 times.

Getting no codes .. hard to diagnose. Could be spark or fuel related.
Have you changed anything plugs .. Anything related to spark.
Check fuel pressure 60 to 65 psi. and hold steady. Run some good injector cleaner through it.

 

I know it sucks with no codes. I tried all that and had no luck.
