Default Silverado (well kind of) Pics

This truck came into my shop today, I will be checking it out tommorrow. It is a 1949 chevy pick-up. It has a motor and trans from a 2000- 2006 silverado 5.3. It is pretty quick. Thought I would share some pics

I wish I had that to look forward to for work tomorrow. I like what I can see in the pics, if you get the chance, I'd love to see the chassis.

Looks pretty damn good. Lmao at the air intake above the valve cover, and just a little above the exhaust manifold. A hot air intake! Lol.

Very nice! So does it have a ECM since its a newer 5.3 motor?

That must have been a project making that fit & work.

What do you have to do to it?

Yes the ecm is under the dash on the passenger side. The OBD II data link connector is in the center. I have to do a safety and reliability check on it ( pretty much checks the entire truck. Customers complaint is mushy brakes
