Hey everybody,

I did some searching around the forum and I couldn't really find what I'm looking for. I have a 2012 Silverado 1500 5.3 extended cab with the HD cooling package. I am considering a snow plow. I was wondering if anybody has a snow plow on a later 1500 truck (model year 07+) and how they like the setup. I don't plan to do any commercial plowing, just some driveways. I know that the truck has plenty of power but nowadays a 3/4 ton is better suited for a plow based on front end capacities. This truck is my daily driver and I'm afraid to mess around with the front end. For a plow I would probably be going with a Fisher 7.5' weighing in at 487lbs or something similar.

Thoughts?
