I just put a spectre intake kit on my 04 silverado ....love it so far however i have noticed that throttle response isnt as great as it used to be ......for example say youre in reverse and floor it, before w/o the intake i could roast em! lol ....now with the intake, truck seems almost a little slugish .....anyone else with an intake experience something this???? thanks !

 

I had one in my old 96 GMC. Almost the same thing, Does that kit still make you cut and splice the wires for the MAF sensor? If it does check the splices and make sure they are tight and your truck doesnt hessitate when you move them or tug on them a little bit

 

no mine didnt even mess with the maf sensor....all i did was pop with whole piece out from the stock filter and then hooked it into the new one .......maybe i should double check and make sure everything is in place.....idk maybe i messed something up changing....
