I was just curious to the proper way to engage my 4x4 in my 1996 Z71 Stepside. I usually come to a complete stop, put it in nuetral, engage, then reverse a tad bit until the the front wheels light up.

My truck has a standard transmission, not sure if that makes a difference in engagement.

And how fast can i go in 4Hi and 4Lo
