Steering play 90 K2500 4x4
I recently inherited a 1990 Chevy K2500. The steering is very loose and unsafe at highway speeds. Web searches point to a variety of causes.
Where should I start? I cant really afford professional repair costs for a firewood hauler. Thanks

Welcome from Florida. Lift the front end off the ground and move the wheels left and right and look for the play in the steering. It could be in more than one place. You have to do a visual inspection.
