Sticky Valve

I've got a sticky valve in my 01 z71, it's the 5.3 and I'm just wondering if this is common and if there might be a quick fix like switching to a synthetic oil or and oil additive?

Sticky Valve

Try running a fuel injector/gastreatment through it. Changing to a synthetic will not fix it..</P>
