Post Strut Pricing ?

I am going to replace the front struts on my 2008 Z71. The local parts house lists Monroe struts for my truck @ $189 ea w/springs. I get on E-Bay and I can get 2 for less than that. Same part # and Mfgr. What is up with this...anyone? Thanks,

Murph.

Profit, is the only reason I can think of. As long as the parts fit and work correctly I personally don't care. Recently bought a headgasket set for my truck and got them for on ebay about 1/2 the price I would have paid if I went to my local auto parts supplier.

I always check Ebay before buying anything. You can usually get a very deal there.

Amazon is also a good place to look, its where I got my shocks and struts...
I got the AC Delco brand but I removed and reused the OEM coil spring....
