Post Stumped......Please Help

I have a Silverado 2001, when you turn the truck off, and the security feature shuts off, the cruise control and high beam lights on the instrument panel come on and by morning the battery is dead, does anyone have any idea what may be causing this, we have had it to several mech. who coun't seem to find the problem. Help.......it's getting frustrating....
Thank you

Sounds like you've got some wires crossed with the keyless system.
#1 try to manually lock the car and see if it does it.
That may help to isolate the problem.

#2 don't take it to a "mechanic". Take it to a car electrician.
Check in the phonebook, they're around.

Default Got It

With lots of searching I found if you pull the radio fuse it breaks the circuit amps, thus not draining the battery. The instrument cluster seems to be the source of the problem and can be repaired by a quilified electrician.
