Exclamation taill light problems.

i got a 06 and my tail light dont come on, but my brake light does, its the same bulb so it cant be the bulb thats out. any ideas??

when you hit the brakes the light comes on and at night when just drivin round the bulb isn't lit up at all? is that what you mean?

its the same bulb as the brake light? the light comes on when you hit the brakes. the bulb is good

the bulb has 2 filaments in it. One for park lamps and the other for turn signal/brake lamp. Replace the bulbs one filament is burnt out.

did you use the right bulb? if the bulb is similar in appearance but the wrong current rating it wont illuminate.

yeah, got the right bulb from autozone. plugged in the new one and once again the brake light worked but not the tail light

you re going to have to check for voltage on the backside of the light socket. for the wire that control taillight illumination. Do they light up in the front of the car?
