TBI vs Carb

TBI vs Carb
New to this site and searched threads and no results showed.
I have a 94 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4 Ext Cab Long bed with 350 TBI; 6" lift. Had 35's went to 33's to gain hp back w/o gear change and no rub.
I want to do some upgrading to my engine, and not sure how far to go. cam for sure bore maybe, but the main question is stay with TBI or go to Carb.
HP difference? Performance difference? Any way to upgrade TBI?
