im sure some people have read that i am in the market for a leveling kit for my 04 silverado. right now i have 265 70 17s. with the leveling kit would my truck still look good with 17s or should i upgrade to 18s. I am going to need tires soon and want to make a decision before i install the leveling kit. i am thinking if i do the leveling kit next month that will give me time to save for tires also. so any opinions would be nice. and i am considering putting 285s on instead of 265s.

285s should be fine, I think 17s would be fine, but I also like 15 inch wheels with 44"tires.

my friend has a 04 silverado crew cab and he put a levelin kit on it with 285's and kept the stock rims and it looks pretty good but he could have went a little bigger

 

country, did you have your leveling kit installed or did you put it in yourself?

 

I had mine installed for 50 bucks...beats buying the 100$ tool for it
