Default Toyo Tires Open Country M/T

I have a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ with factory 20" wheels. Current tire size is 275/55/20. Will the Toyo Open Country M/T fit without rubbing in size 33x12.50R20? FYI, I have stock suspension. Also, will the Toyo tires fit on the factory 20" wheels? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

the stock is about 32in. they would go on the stock wheels but it depends on the offset if they will rub or not

I do not believe this new tire will fit without raising the front end.
The 275/55/20 is 31.9" tall and10.8" wide, the 33x12.5x20 is self explanitory. Too wide and too tall.

Thanks for the info/replies. So, with a leveling kit, will a 33x12.5x20fit with no rubbing?

I have a 2005 no lift and I just put new tires on. I wanted to go as big and wide as posable, and I went with the toyo open country 285/r70/17 its close but no rubbing. Bought them at Town Fair Tire and they told me if they rub a little in the frunt you can raise the torsion bars in the frunt, which will raise your front end a little. They didn't recamend raising them all the way though you need some play.

The 33x12.5x20 that I have done did rub, even with a 2" front end leveling kit. I had to trim the front and and the rear of the wheel well. The 07-08 NBS Silverado suspension is different than the 03-06 Silverado classic.

charlie, now I'm thinking about going with a 275/60/20 Pro Comp Xtreme M/T instead and a leveling kit. It's still a 33" tire but a bit narrower then the other one. Do you think any trimming would be necessary? Thanks!

Why bother? Why would youspend $1500 on rubber togo up only about an inch in tire diameter? Forget about torsion lifts and leveling kits, you're not going to get that beefy big tire look by going up in tire size by only an inch or two. Do it right and put on a 4-6" lift and then you can run 35s. Seriously, I was in the same boat as you and put the biggest tires I could under my stock suspension and $1500 later I was disappointed big time.
