The tranny on my 1993 1/2 ton 4wd was completely rebuilt in September of 08, new everything, even new harness, solenoids , the boot.
Yesterday coming home from work it did not downshift when I came to a stop then went on, I can do it manually but thats it.
I checked for codes and got 2, code 37(brake switch stuck on) and code 66(Transmission 3-2 shift solenoid circuit problems), could the 2 be related?.
Seems funny that it has not been a year yet and the solenoid should need replaced, especially since the truck has not been ran hard or hauled or towed anything.

Your answer is here, I saw it a couple months ago, there's even technical diagrams. Do a thread search under 4L60E and transmission problems,etc.

Need to find out where the TCC brake switch is at(code32).
from the schematic in my Chiltons book it looks like its under the dash but not sure.
