Default Tranny Upgrades

Nothing i'm looking to do at the moment just getting some research around and pricing things out for maybe future upgrades. Dont know to much about transmissions and just trying to expand my knowlege. What kind of upgrades are there to beef up the tranny say if i decided to cam and do head work ect. Knowing already that the tranny should be beefed up. I know alot of people say your cam and stall have to go together, How do you determine this?

Yes stall and cam go together, I can't exactly say how to determine it though. And add a vette servo and shift kit to help it out. Also a bigger tranny cooler will help

I already have the vette servo just havent actually put it in yet. As far as shift kits go are there perferred kits over others for these trannys? Also i know some companies make different stages of the kits. Is the difference in that just the firmness of the shifts or is there more to it then that?

I believe it's the firmness of the shift, but some may be different than others. I believe most people use a B&M shift kit
