trans sitting for 4 years
have a 4l60e out of a 94 c1500 chev. know the owner. it was rebuilt and has 15000 miles on it. he wrecked the truck and took it out. it's been sitting for 4 years fluid is clean and not burnt. want to put it in my 94 c1500.
what should i do to it before i put it in my truck?

Replace the seals, dried out, and you DON'T want to have to replace the input shaft seal after installation. These three seals are probably less than 25 bucks, and at this stage easy to get to. If it were me, I'd pop the old ones out, and replace.
