Default Transmission help

I don't know your transmission, but am suggesting that you check with a local transmission shop.

This may be your best approach.

Good luck,

Pictures might help your explanation of the problem.

Do you have a Haynes or Chilton Manual?

Tell us about the replacement trans,is it for the year of truck you have? Is it for a 4wd? This could be important info.

it came out of a 2wd, i had the output shafts swaped, it all bolted up like it was suppose to but the shift linkage isnt lining up. it is from a 1993 and it is a 4l60. i think it being from a 2wd has something to do with it

You may need to get the linkage for a 4wd unit. I think there is an extra articulation there in between the transfer case. Go to LMCtruck.com and look for a schematic and corresponding part number to help you out.
