I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 4.3L v6, automatic transmission, 16 bolt pan. I just changed the transmission fluid, filter, and replaced both shift solenoids, but it still slips and doesnt work right. 1st and 2nd work fine, but when it tries to shift to 3rd, its almost as if the clutch is halfway in; the rpm's rise and it goes a little bit, but wont fully shift unless you let off the gas completely. After it shifts, if you hit the gas, it just revs up again. What could be the problem? Anything helps. Thanks!

Sure wish you would have posted earlier before you wasted your hard earned cash.

Once they start slipping, it's game over. This transmission is smoked.
