truck idles rough

truck idles rough

every so often my truck will start to idle rough and miss fire.. So far ive changed the ignition coils spark plugs and wires, the mass air flow sensor what else can cause a miss fire plz help

truck idles rough

Have you tried to see if there is water in fuel? try running a few cans of dry gas & then Lucas injector cleaner with you next fill up. of course not all at the same time.

i have 162,500 on it ive run a couple bottles or injector cleaner thru it every 3000 miles.

have you done a compression test? a bad valve is more eveident at an idle than when running at speed

I've been informed that BG, Redline and other petroleum-based injector cleaners work better than alcohol-based cleaners. They are less harsh on seals and less likely to corrode metals.
