Default Truck won't go in park!!!

So I rebuilt my engine and got it mounted and bolted up to the transmission. Today I moved the truck by pushing it so I threw it in neutral and when I put it in the spot to have it in park, it stayed in neutral. Any ideas on what could be wrong? I had it in park before but now it just won't go.

Do you have the torque converter bolted to the flywheel?

I'd bet you mounted the bell-crank upsidedown when you put it all back together?

The shifter feels basically normal, maybe a little more loose.
