Cams 98 tried that, but even tho I switch it on the shift lever won't budge. The darn thing is stuck, plus I don't want to do it to hard so I break something else, thank u tho, any other ideas are welcomed as Ill have to drive my bucket for now since I'm going on vacation in 7 days. I'm not even mad I'm jus bummed out that I can't drive it, I love that truck.

well. you say you unplugged it and plugged it back in? and even tried the key on engine off to neutral? wow bro. your wheels turned any? if not straight. and this is a hunch. try turning the wheel some. just so it gives a little. then try turning the key maybe? wait. no u can start it just not unpark it. damn. got a warranty? sheet. call ghostbusters. that is a possessed vehicle.

Default Wont shift out of park

I had the same thing happen on my 2008 Equinox. I had to tow it to the dealer first time it happened. The issue was a blown fuse on my right front turn blinker. Not surewhy they are connect to each other and not listed in the manual but it worked. My blinker sound would spee up, thats how i knew if i shifted to park i would not be able to shift out of park. So i would check for this fuse or possibly another fuse that is linked to the shifter.

Interlock solenoid would be the first thing to check. They do go south.

Default Easy Fix (this time)

So, somewhere in the log, it was suggested to just turn the wheels back and forth a bit, same as if you push or pull truck. Just went and did the wheel turn and freed transmission immediately and shifted smoothly. Cancelled tow truck but will still report to service dept where I bought it 244 miles ago. Thanks to all for many suggestions. This is a new HD 3500 with way too much crap that came with it whether wanted or not.
