Default Would I be downgrading my systems sound quality by reinstalling my stock HU?

Would I, and by how much would I be downgrading my sound quality in my vehicle by going from this recently installed Pioneer receiver back to my stock head unit?

Here's the Pioneer receiver that is currently installed:
Pioneer DEH-P8300UB CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

With the receiver, I had 4 new speakers and one amp installed as well. Here's the amp:
Kicker ZX350.4 4-channel car amplifier 60 watts RMS x 4 at Crutchfield.com

The reason I am wanting to reinstall my stock HU is that I like its display a lot more. If it helps, my vehicle is a 07 Silverado Crew cab LT. I will be having the stock HU reinstalled by an auto tech.

Thanks for any help.

Im not up to dat one anything to new highest i have ever mess with was a 96 silverado. but when we put the aftermarket deck in the differance for me was night and day. the deck and amp you have now are both great products i have the same deck in my truck. the sacrifice might not be to bad if you can still wire that amp in i never had a stock stereo that would but what really should matter is weather you care more about looks or sound. i have had to many stock decks just decide one day they quit i would stay with what you have or atleast hold on to it.

1st you need to know what your stock stereo puts out.
Also, does your stock stereo have RCA jacks for an amp?

For most small to mid level systems the stock head unit is fine. I've put in many mid level sound systems in previous trucks and the stock head unit did well with them.

If not, RCA jacks can be wired in.
