Hi,
I have an Aveo with 139K miles. I've had various issues the recalls-DRL Module, throttle body, had alternator replaced. And I have a ripped intake boot, front door locks both fell inside . But a few days ago when I started the car there was smoke coming from the front of the car.
I don't drive too much-but seems like a serious issue and wondering what the issue is. This is a short video-3 seconds but hope it works. Thanks so much!

check for oil seepage from the valve cover. if oil seeps out onto the hot exhaust manifold it will smoke. this does have fire hazard potential. pretty easy fix.
if it just rained or you washed the engine its just water burn off.
as a none related maintenace issue....make sure the timing belt have been done. if it hasn't, buy the timing kit with new pulleys, water pump and belt. don't neglect this.
