So my girlfriend was parking our car today in the driveway. She turned the car off and somehow turned the steering wheel (after everything was off and parked). She went to turn the ignition on and now the key won't turn into to on or start positions. It comes in and out but won't turn. I've heard that moving the steering wheel helps with this but so far no luck.

Has anyone else ever had/heard of this problem? Any suggestions? I'd really prefer to not get it towed to a shop and shell out a couple hundred bucks.
