A friend of mine has a 2007 chevy Aveo 4 door with the 1.6 the throttle is surging while driving but when you come to a stop it will die checkit with scan tool only code was for o2 sensor which we replaced because the front heat sheild had rubbed through the wiring but it is still doing it and no codes the car has over 100000 miles on it and has been dependable until now we also replaced the timing belt and rechecked it to make sure that it is still in time all looks good there also pulled throttle body and cleaned it and new plugs and wires so we need help to figure this out any ideas willl be extremely appreciated

 

Finally got it it was a bad coil pack so definately check your coil pack if you have this issue even though no replies Hope this helps out someone
