Hi everyone,
I'm having some issues with my 2009 Aveo Lt. I took a chance and bought the car at an auction, with my bad luck it doesn't run so great. When I drove it, it was jerky and was shaking when I stopped at a light or anything. I took the car to the mechanic who told me we he might have to change the engine coils and even after that it might not be the problem.

If anyone can help me out, it would be much appreciated

 

any p0300 misfire codes. if yes I'd run it with a vacuum guage on it to check for bad valves. This is common on older models. I've had one come in with all new wires, plugs and coils still misfiring. There is a tsb for updated valves; but this may not apply to a 2009 model.

how many miles? was the timing belt or water pump recently changed.

if the tech's wrong; who's paying?
