I am completely stumped, so about two years ago my car didn't start for a little while after stopping for gas on my way home from a 6 hour car ride. Then nothing else until about a year later, I went grocery shopping came out to my car and it wouldn't start until I got a jump and again the next morning. Well I hadn't had this problem again until a couple of weeks ago when it did it again and it's been happening every few days now. Today I went to get it jumped and it wouldn't work. I keep hearing a click click click sound and then nothing. I had both the battery and alternator checked and they said they were both good. Has anyone had any issues like this or have any suggestions on what the problem could be? It has 88k miles on it as well.

How old is the battery? I don't trust the parts stores personal for tests at all. Check the alternator and junk out the battery as its cheaper than having a real tech check it.
