I've had my vehicle for less than 3 weeks and I'm trying to figure out if the driver side door is suppose to only lock while I'm in the car or if I lock the door with my key? Is this true or do I need to get it checked out?

 

Well, this post is an old one, but in case anyone else cares:

Yes, it's supposed to do that. It's so you don't lock your keys in the car. Kind of irritating, but the first time it saves you from leaving the keys in, it's all worth it.
