Sonic Ltz poor gas milage
My last Sonic Lt was a 2013 with the 1.4l turbo and it got 39 mpg. Sadly about a month ago I hit a deer and totaled it. I bought another 2013 Sonic with the 1.4l turbo with 14,000 miles on it but it only gets 28 mpg. Its in great shape and was owned by an older lady that rarely drove it and kept it in the garage. I had it scanned and it's not showing any fault codes. Is there something that I can do to improve the mpg or is this something that is still covered by the drive train warranty? Thanks!

Got one recently for my wife and she keeps complaining that she's been filling up gas quite often now, much more than our Yaris. Am assuming that there is something going on here.
I did get a Chevy Certified-PreOwned and would like to take it to the dealership for them to take a look. Is there anything in particular that I should ask them to look at?

that would be my guess...
I got a new Cruze this year;
i had a Cobalt, & had to keep filling it
because the tank was smaller,
not cause of gas mileage

Sonic - 12.2 gallons
Yaris - 11.1 gallons
So Yaris has a smaller tank and gave much better mileage.

you can't really compare the Yaris with the Sonic
but really, it could be a number of reasons...
mines in metric,
but my new Cruze is getting 36mpg
maybe it's the weather too
