Default 85 Chevy loose steering

I bought a 85 Chevy k10. It has 3 inch lift blocks in the front (already on when I bought) and I'm not sure how big the leaf springs are but the truck has 39.5 super swampers. When I try to drive it the steering isn't tight or anything but it's all over the road the steering is really loose and I'm not sure why any help???

probably needs a whole new front end/steering rebuild. Its old with im assuming lots of miles and lift kits make everything wear out quicker.

Cleveland is correct, but I would try this. On the top of the steering gear box there is a nut with a protruding threaded bolt. Some have a slot for a screwdriver others hold an allen wrench. Try loosening the nut while holding the bolt in place. When the bolt is loose, turn the bolt 1/4 turn. If that helps a little, turn another 1/4 turn. Do not over do it as this closes the gape in the gears and you want a little play in them. Just my .02
